Casino Mate download client. Is it still worth the install
Honest question from someone still learning bonuses, is the download client actually different to the browser version, or just the same lobby in a wrapper? 😅 I only signed up recently and I've been playing in the browser because I didn't want to clog my laptop with an install.
Keen to hear if anyone's noticed the app running smoother or the games behaving any differently. Does the desktop client get the same promos as browser play, or do some bonuses only show in one? 🤔
Fair question mate, and honestly the download client these days is mostly the same lobby in a nicer jacket. I installed it years back out of habit, it ran a touch smoother on my old machine, fewer hiccups mid free games, but the browser does the job fine now. I'd say only bother if your connection drops out or the browser laggs during the feature. Ah well, we grind on 😉
Mate, the wrapper question is the smaller issue. Whichever way you play it, browser or install, the maths on your end doesn't change - long-run you're feeding a minus. Dave's right that it's mostly cosmetic, so don't stress about which one "plays fairer".
My rule is simple: keep the laptop clean, play in browser, and judge the place by whether the cashouts actually land. Everyone raves about a site until you ask for the proof. Got a cashout screenshot? That's what decides it for me, not how glossy the client feels mid free games.

Sticking with browser here too 😅 my laptop's old enough without adding an install, and I figure if the games run fine mid free games there's no real reason to download anything. Browser games can stutter right when you hit the free games and every spin counts, usually on older machines or sketchy internet, while a download client runs off your own hard drive so it tends to hold steadier. Bit like the difference between the club pokie and one with a dodgy power point, the maths is identical, only the smoothness changes. If your laptop's fine as-is, I'd skip the install; ah well, we grind on 😉
